HashTag Research & Technology Ltd. is honored to have played a critical role in the successful execution of the LICT Program in the Rangpur division, working closely with Hypertag Solutions Ltd. and Ernst & Young (EY) under the guidance of the ICT Division of Bangladesh.

The Leveraging ICT for Growth, Employment, and Governance (LICT) initiative is one of Bangladesh's most ambitious government-led skill development programs, funded by the World Bank. Its primary goal is to enhance the capacity of the IT/ITES workforce, generate sustainable employment, and foster inclusive digital growth across the country.

🎯 Project Objectives

• Train thousands of youth across Bangladesh in demand-driven IT/ITES skills
• Increase employability and freelance-readiness of graduates
• Ensure at least 60% placement of trainees in local or international job markets
• Support the national goal of becoming a globally recognized IT outsourcing hub

🚀 Our Role in Rangpur Division

HashTag Research & Technology Ltd. was assigned the role of training partner in Rangpur Division, where we facilitated both Foundation Training and Top-Up Training across a range of in-demand ICT domains. The objective was not only to equip participants with technical skills but also to prepare them for placement opportunities in the local and international IT markets.

We delivered comprehensive training that included:

• Graphic Design – Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and branding concepts
• Digital Marketing – SEO, SEM, social media strategies, Google Ads, and analytics
• Web Development – HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, Laravel, and WordPress
• Software Development – Java, .NET, C# fundamentals and frameworks
• Mobile App Development – Android and hybrid app development using modern tools

Our training approach emphasized:

• Real-world projects and portfolio development
• Interactive, instructor-led sessions with industry experts
• Soft skills enhancement including communication, CV writing, and interview preparation
• Post-training job placement support and freelancing guidance

✅ Trained 2000+ participants in the Rangpur region across multiple ICT disciplines
